The Emirates Equestrian Center (EEC) is a fully-integrated training and competition facility for equestrian sports. This 2-phase project includes Phase 1 which was to relocate the existing facility temporary location necessitated due to other developments in its original location; and Phase 2 which is to design a new facility in the Racing District.

Phase 1, the temporary facility involves construction of new barns and setting up paddocks, renovating existing barns in the temporary location.

Phase 2, the new permanent home for the EEC. The center includes a riding school area, livery and dressage stables area, an indoor riding arena, a quarantine stables area, show jumping stables (team) area, main event arena, vet and farrier area, show stables area, an office and administration area, and staff accommodations.

By including the EEC as part of the overall master plan for Meydan City development, a wider range of equine sports is available at Meydan City to make it a true integrated equine city.
