Tianjin Equine Culture City Master Plan
Tianjin Equine Culture City is the master plan to introduce the sport of horse racing back into the mainstream of China’s leisure activities. For its boldness to cultivate the equine culture hand in hand with promoting the horse industry in China, the project is visionary and groundbreaking. TECC promotes the horse industry as an economic driver at the most opportune time of China’s economic ascendancy into the world stage.
The 330-hectare project is the first equine community that showcases a masterfully planned development that combines horse racing and elegant living into a unique and integrated community lifestyle. TECC features a residential community of large estates with individual paddocks and horse stables. It includes a breeding center, auction house, and horse paths. At the core of the community is the exclusive CHC Clubhouse with racetracks and training tracks. The CHC Clubhouse defines the equine lifestyle of the community residents and is positioned to introduce horse racing and the festivities associated with it to its valued club members.
The planned community – Tianjin Equine Culture City (TECC) – is therefore the genesis of equine culture in Tianjin by introducing a selection of palatial mansions with paddocks, horse stables, and breeding farms. Located in the agricultural zone, the development retains prominent agricultural base activities such as horse raising, breeding, training, and equine health care however, adding a high-valued lifestyle component such as the mansions alongside paddocks, horse paths, canals, and gallop tracks. The high-value added components cater to the aspirations of an emerging affluent class in Tianjin which is home to 18,000 individuals of high net worth who continue to seek alternative forms of leisure activities that are exciting and befit their stature. Horse racing adequately fills that desire.
