Old Sibu Airport Redevelopment

The old Sibu Airport Redevelopment site covers approximately 196 acres and is proposed to be developed in 3 major phases.  The masterplan aims to reactivate the site with a new lease of life as the regional centre and the northern gateway for Sibu.  A combination of civic, residential, commercial and recreational zones are planned together with the requisite infrastructure and utilities serve to complement existing and proposed government / administrative sub-centre, stadium / sports centre (to the east of the development site) and help facilitate the overall growth of the surrounding region and Sibu in general.
