Miri Resort City Master Plan

Miri Resort City represented the first major waterfront masterplan prepared by TAK establishing Miri, Mr. Teo’s hometown, as the North-Eastern Gateway for Sarawak and, in the process, contributing to economic development of the surrounding regions. The masterplan was founded on the principles of environmental protection, cultural enhancement, and economic development through land reclamation, creation of waterfront leisure areas, and improving land values through economic activities respectively. A 2.5-kilometer waterfront vista will be dedicated to public parks and recreational activities.
