The fundamental design principle on the 128 acres site is the green dragon spine that acts as the life line for the integrated development, which provides its residents a fulfilled life style of eat, live, work, play and mental wellness.
The Dragon City Master Plan is aspired to be an integrated development that not just thrives on carefully clustered urban fabric that encourages walking as the primary mode of transportation by ensuring that most people’s needs are within walking distance, and providing an environment which is safe and pleasant for pedestrians. The Green Dragon Spine which itself consist of mix-used development and green lung corridor has recreated a walkable communities that are technically and economically feasible. With supporting transit infrastructure such as shuttle bus, bicycle lanes and possibly in near future electric car, all these will be well integrated with the urban fabric which ensures a major step towards low carbon city.
