The Mansion
The Mansion was designed to capture the grandeur of European architecture and to integrate the horse racing culture which reached its zenith in the 1900s in Tianjin. The model homes for the project were planned as part of several residential units in an exclusive equine community master plan. Residences which include the Mansion model were planned as palatial European homes that evoked an elegant lifestyle associated with horseracing, popularly referred to as the sport of kings. Designed as the definitive horseman’s residential mansion, the individual plots include large paddocks and stables for horses.
The Mansion is part of a modern and masterfully planned equine community called Tianjin Equine Culture City (TECC) that aims to integrate prestigious equine sports such as horse racing and stylish living into an integrated community. The TECC showcases the Mansion as symbiotically linked with the stables and ushers in a uniquely positioned product that re-introduces the sport of horse racing back into the mainstream of social leisure activities of the rich and elite of Chinese society.
The objective is to integrate the 19th century style of Tianjin’s colonial architecture and horse racing culture in a well-planned and highly functional layout that addresses lifestyle needs and horse care and breeding operations.
