Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia The 12-storey office and retail development serves as the headquarters for the Sarawak Timber Association (STA) and its associated members and businesses. With a gross floor area of 22,598m2, the tower has become a key landmark development and urban symbol within the eastern business corridor of Kuching’s new central business district. It features aluminum-clad green-glass facades with an impressive spiraling gallery space and entrance atrium that reflect the institutional setting of the structure. The project offers two public spaces to the people of Kuching, one being the external entrance plaza while the other is the central atrium with spiraling ramp. The project was won through a limited competition.
