Hock Lee Centre |
|||
Sprawled over 100,000ft2 of prime retail space, Hock Lee Centre is a premier podium integrated shopping complex designed around a three-storey oval-shaped atrium. The tower-and-podium development has three main components - a three-and-a-half level podium shopping complex, an 11-storey office block, and an 18-storey condominium tower. Supported by a 3-level central basement services and car parking spaces, the distinctive landmark is a “three-in-one integrated development” situated within a wedge-shaped island site with main frontage facing Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim. The 11-level office block is orientated with its main elevations facing north-south axis while with its narrower elevations facing east-west axis to minimize solar heat gains. An exclusive entrance to the 18-storey condominium tower is strategically located at the quieter northwestern corner - away from the busy traffic circulation of the shopping centre and office tower. With a total of 53 units, the tower offers six levels of 4-unit per floor layouts at the bottom portion, nine levels of 3-unit per floor layout in the middle portion, and two levels of 2-penthouse unit per floor at the top. The topmost penthouse is double-storeyed with generous balconies and roof terraces that take full advantage of the panoramic views of Kuching City afforded at this height. |
